Not really had it long enough to comment. I don't listen to the radio much tbh.

When I took the original one out (leaving the base with no aerial) I tested the radio and it sounded fine! Even thought about leaving it with no aerial so it looked almost like a fin but popped in the new one just to be safe.

Just had a bit of a search for 'aerial' threads and come across this.

I want to buy one of these now, but can I just check you guys are both happy with your aerials still?

Prob go for the cheaper one :)

Couple of quid saved for the HIDs... :)

I have the C2 one. For some reason national radio stations like Radio 1 are a bag of shite, but I can pick up the BBC locals and other commercial stations fine. Radio 1 wasn't perfect with the stock aerial either though, but it does drop out more with the stubby one. I just need to adjust my taste in music to something I can get ;)

Tbh I don't mind that so much. Barely listen to the radio ever really. Got my ipod sitting in my glovebox linked to the rear of the head unit through a gromit in there.
Not a fan of Radio 1 either  lol

Just need to make sure people we're happy with the quality of theirs. Also gotta be that matt'ish black finish so no chav-scum try to pinch it. :censored:

Won't go near Radio 1 in the morning due to Chris Moyles. :w4nk:

I'm not a radio fan but the signal is not as good as it is with the standard aerial. If this is a problem then get a signal booster as mentioned above by Mr Ben.

I think it improves the look of the car soooo much though. DO IT!

The only 'problem' I encountered when I fitted mine, is that my H/U is pretty big and has a lot of wires as it is, so to get it to fit snug and so the security prongs were all in place, I had to take out the glove box and pull the wires through a bit, but its 3 torx screws and your in. Even I managed it, and I am totally flumuxed by the installation guide on these new wipers I got today, lol.
