this is my 1st go at tryin to slap some pics on a thread so if it doesnt work feel free to take the
list of stuff i have done (nothing major)
de-badged most of the rear
painted calipers
seat sport gearnob
seat strutbrace
k&n panel filter n took some bits out of my airbox haha
colour coded my mirrors and my grill surround
and replaced my rear speakers for pioneers

i plan to get a new head unit and replace my front door speakers and also get my windows tinted. was planing on getting coilovers or springs but have decided to just get some 17s when i need some new tyres, and im dying for the fr lower bumper grill! the honeycomb one!

i also had a problem with my arb bushes so put some power flex ones on

as you can tell it felt pretty awful driving clunking away

bit of an update, changed my discs and pads, still after some lowering springs and spacers, and an exhaust! struggling to find a nice one im sure one of a fr will fit though!

exhaust TIP! havnt found an exhaust yet so popped to halfords for the next best thing lol


next on the list, need to get my alarm fixed, goes off all the time lowering springs, spacers or new alloys coz 2 of my tyres are abit low n ones got a right buldge on the side wall oops erm exhaust and closed induction kit thing, im sure pretty much all pre facelift back boxes will fit any model, am i right?

Did you pur some grease on the pads?

nah there like funny clip ones that clip in ur calliper n into ur piston, should i have? dont know a great deal about cars i just like to do **** myself

copper greased my pads like a good'en n there fine! silly roockie mistake. iv also got some fr wheels n goodyear eagle f1 tyres! but other day the plastic cable holder for my window snapped so it shot straight down n doesnt work.......bit windy

now then, nope never had my bumper off. there just clipped in. the clips took some work though.

bit of an update!



got rid of the goodyear eagle f1s mainly because i blew two tyres n went for some toyos!





my window runner snapped and the cable got fecked up so did a bodge fix coz i was on goin on holiday the next day! stayed like this for about a month haha



had a bit of a clean of my engine because it doesnt start very well and has abit of a rough idle so found 2 of my ht leads on the ignition coil were all caked in **** and took my erg vavle of to clean it abit well more that i was nosey but a wire was snapped on the plug on the top of it!








then i replaced my mid scilencer with a pipe from a 1.4 tdi im gagging for a nice backbox tho that wont cost 300 quid!!

Nice car mate. Iv got one of these but the 2008 sportrider one. May have to pinch a few ideas off yours for mine

Also if you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for the groved disks and pads? Few Photos with them on??
