update, vinyl wrapped the door piller gloss black and vinyl wrapped the numper plate recess, I painted the vinyl for the recess with the grill coloured paint to make it look like 1 big mean grill for shows when my numper plate is off. results.....im pretty happy with it, think the window/door piller could be a catch on mod as it was easy to do and looks better, got the idea when i was in Canada and seen my cousins jeep came like this standard as they had to get them replaced when i was there. so anyways pics.....

Oh good idea I really like that one of mine had gone all funny and faded in one area, only problem id the FR badges are on there I could take them off as they are all faded but don't want to make the car look less than it is. Can you stick things over vinyl like badges?

yeh just buy new badges and stick them on top, will stick no bother i think

Is it hard to apply vinyl?

you gotta watch for air bubbles....just while applying use ur fingers or a bank card wrapped in kitchenroll and start like the top and apply and if you get a bubble lift that bit back of and keep smoothing and you will eventually get there, takes some time but will happen, then make sure the sides are covered and trim with a stanley knife

Btw mate, you know when you painted the SEAT logo on the centre grille. Did you paint around the logo? Or did you take it out first?

Very tempted to do the same :)
