Yep, very well thanks, just finished off last few reports etc for uni, then my two finals in June and I'm back into the big world!

Fair enough, I'm sure it will make a positive difference when you do get to fit it. Be careful on the location of your pump, mine was mounted on the OEM SMIC mount and has developed corrosion inside the motor..brush springs disintegrated! All fixed now tho1

Cheers for the advice. I am getting a custom mount made for the pump so may get the fabricators to shield it from the elements somehow.

I still do have some plans for the car so its definitely going to get done. Car is going in for more mapping soon and once thats done. I will then focus on the watermeth. May give you a shout if I get stuck when installing :)

Things to do for summer

Took the car out for a gentle drive so I could get some fresh air. Really am happy with the current setup even at low speeds. I zipped the car round a roundabout and it was just planted with minimal body roll, diff pulling me round and ample of composure. This got me thinking that I need to spend more time enjoying the car this summer than tinkering. I would like peoples thoughts on this - time to stop for a while?

I still have a to do list.

1) hopefully what will be the final map on the car. Booked in for mid May.
2) scrub out the falkens and get two toyo t1rs for the front. At same time get an asymmetric tyre for my spare.
3) gauges
4) oil cooler
5) new rear pads - ds2500s
6) new washer tank installed
7) plum in s3 vents

and when money allows watermeth.

Tbh yes enjoy the car but don't get the "final map" untill the water meth in there is no point as it will need to be tweaked again use the water meth as part of your map and you will see huge gains compared if you just used it with out it mapped to suit , defi gauges are stupidly dear would much rather have a vent mounted liquid gauge does more tells you more looks better and its cheaper ,what's with the s3 vents ? You mean the light up ones ?

I see your point but the car needs to be running 100% before we start tinkering with water.

Have you still not fitted those vents!!!!! Maz you've had them for almost 9 months haha
Vents are fitted just not wired to get power. I been busy

Well you know my thoughts mate, I have been telling you for months now to just enjoy it...

Dont get me wrong, tinker with it, but dont go getting loads of stuff for now, go back to enjoying the car and researching the next step...

All the above you can sort or I can help you sort... S3 vents are easy one...Gauges... I've sorted that.. Defi gauges are useless to me and maz as are boost values arent measurable on the Defi gauges...
Tank me and you can fit one weekend, wont take long
So start just enjoying the car in the summer!

Cant wait to get some work done there myself (Monday) :D

Cheers Liam - glad you took the time to read through the thread.

I certainly spent a few quid there over the years. Shaun / Kenny and everyone else really look after me there hence stuck with them.
