Yes it is seperate, think you might have to take the front bumper off to fit it though as it pops in from behind, however not done one yet so dont take that as gospel.

Just taken a few pics for you lot, its just an Ibiza Sport but the same should apply.

To refit reverse the above, little bit of silicon lube may help on the tage to pop it back in. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Techie, I would never have got the grill out without damage.

My O/S lens was broken by a stone (presumably) last week. Only the glass was broken, but the dealers wanted 80 something quid plus for a complete new fitting. That's taking the proverbial, so I carefully removed the broken bits of glass, gouged out the black silicone, nibbled the inner plastic rim out, leaving a flat oval lens hole. So I cut out a piece of clear 6mm perspex at work, siliconed it in, and refitted the lamp. Looks a treat, and you'd have to look carefully to spot the difference. £80 plus saved.

Mind you, perpsex melts at about 140 deg C, so time will tell. But there's nothing to lose by trying!

Dont know how to start my own thread on this site (reeeaally bad user interface, looks like it hasnt been updated since the early 2000's) so im posting in related threads.

Missing the fog light grille for my mk4 ibiza sport. Cannot for the life of me find a matching one anywhere online, anybody know a place? dont want to get an after market one because the stock ones that are on the car actually look really good.

Thank you for this guide, I could be there all day with a screw driver that it wouldn't pop out! Bought a set of trim tools and removed it in 5 minutes, it was so easy with the proper tools!!!

Wish I saw this before I tried with a screw driver because the screw driver can damage a little the paint between the bumper and the grill but can't be seen and it's plastic so it won't rust :)

One less thing to worry about

Old foglight:
