right then ive been told to repost in this section cos i need your helps guys i have a 2005 leon lcr today i fitted an amp and sub by running a running an rca convertor off the back speakers connections of the standard aura cd player but need an ignition live for the remote wire, i have tried the three in th back of the stereo and got these results.

1. wire holds 8.5v and sub power light comes on but not nothing from sub
2. wire holds 8.5v and all works and sounds great but cuts off when you pull away????
3. wire holds 11.5v and does the same as the first wire

i dont really want to permanent live it with a switch cos it looks crap, and i cant believe that the only way is dreemers way of running it to some bolts in the drivers footwell.
( thanks for the advice tho dreemer if i have to at do that then at least i now know a way )

any advice guys, wheres yours running from???????

U can connect it to one of the fuses in ur fuse section by wrapping it around one of the fuse legs then putting it back in.
The fuse for the cigarette lighter is what i have always used as it only produces a current when the ignition is switched on.
Quick and easy way and what ive done on my last two installs
