Took my car in for a service...

And ended up test driving and ordering a shiney new red FR!!

Been told it'll be about May/June build to order wait though....It seems so far away!

If theres anyone who is still sceptical about the DSG, then id certainly advise a drive in one! I must say I was pretty impressed having only ever driven manuals and should the FR had been available with a manual, then id have gone for that model without even trying the DSG and I think id have missed out?

Well...the long wait starts here :)

DFG is great for a nice economical drive. When I want a spirited drive its manual on the paddles all the way!

[UPDATED] Re: Took my car in for a service...

Well Well Well.....sorry to dig up an old thread, but I got a surprising call a few weeks ago to tell me that seat had apparently taken on some extra guys or overtime at the factory....and the car would soon be ready for me....in a loverly 2 months ahead of schedule!

And here she is, waiting for an exciting pic up on Saturday

HI about the the dsg I have a leon mk2 fr tdi 170 bhp manual and my son-in-law has a golf tdi 170 bhp dsg, at the lights he leaves standing as I can't get used to changing gear at the right time, would recommend a dsg, I would have liked this myself.

When did you order and how long are you having to wait for yours cupradean? The dealer was quite surprised when informed that mine would be ready before the end of April....especially as we were expecting it to be June/July time! I cant say im complaining though
