Yeah, and if anything i find they have less of a spread compared to the filaments, its a more of a direct pattern.

I had hoped for the same when i bought mine.

They are slightly blue compared to my LED sidelights, although i think that the photos make them seem more blue than they really are.

On the previous page is a picture of the bulbs, the link you put up is the ones they have installed. Dont look too good though (my opinion)

I seem to find this with MOST E-Bay advertised lights, be it sidelights or number plate..........
They are never "ice white" but the Blue gives you a clue. Usually more Blue than White (unfortunately). :(

And its Blue or Yellow, that Im actually trying to get away from! :)

When I fitted mine I didn't point the LED's right down at the plate as they were very bright. I turned them so they were facing towards the car, but not up the way.....if that makes sense. That way they give a nice white glow...but not too bright.

I fitted mine, gone one in fine and the other I pushed the housing up into the bumper.... OOOPS, good job I had my girlfriend on hand with little finger and managed to get them installed.

But I have a problem, I like LED's now, and I was driving over the woodhead pass on Sunday and there was a Clio with LED bulbs behind me, made my headlights look poo. So I need some white LED headlights.

Also on the woodhead pass saw a pair of Focus RS's one green one white. looked the dogs, but then realised they were fords. :p

I think I might get some for mine but I've seen these and was wondering if anyone had tried them as each bulb has 6 LED's instead so should give good illumination

In this situation im not sure the 3 extra bulbs would make much of a difference, as they are all in the same direction and still limited by the small lense they shine down through.

Be carefull not to buy "blue" bulbs though, could get you in trouble with the police.

Believe me, they do look better than in the photos. They illuminate the full plate, and are not as blue as the photos may suggest.
