i would give anything to have an exhaust to sound like that, the sound the revs drops is pure sex

I know! :D I've just driven to the Gf's and had both windows down most the way! Dropping down gears and giving it a bit of throttle through streets sided by buildings. The echo bounces back and is pure filth!

It sounds 1000000% in better and when moving/under load. From 1.5-3k is a lovely V6 burble that I'm now addicted too. Then above that - the usual R32 rasp.

I still got 30mpg average! :D Luckily the best noise is in low revs so it's economical fun! :D

Just straight out the cats?? No i didn't. I didnt wanna put any lights on by starting it up. And I didnt want the exhaust to get hot and condensation dribble all over it for fitting the new one!

sounds wicked that!
trying to convince my dad to get one of these for his 3.2 a3 :)

I know Milltek do an exhaust for the 3.2 V6 TT and it sounds NOWHERE near as good as this system does! :D

Just a couple more videos - you'll have to turn the volume up full blast because I'm using an old phone til the end of the month until I'm due for an upgrade :)

Please excuse the poor visuals. I just held the phone in my hand while driving. This is with both windows down, not hard acceleration, just throttling away as normal.

Gorgous car - Ive got a real soft spot for the R32 its much better looking then the mark 5 version.

Cheers! :D I know they arent uber quick or good on fuel, but they seem to hit quite a few peoples hearts :D The Mk4 is MUCH nicer looker than the Mk5, I have to agree! :) And the Mk6 R is actually a 2.0t! Which I dont agree with. The whole point of the R32's was the fact they had a 3.2 V6, that's what made them so different to the LCR's/S3's for example. Now they're 2.0t's, I think they're just the same and maybe wont sell aswell???

:drool::drool::drool:

I knew this would sound mint i bet it sounds so much better in person though :D

Lots of popping when the revs drop aswell :p

It sounds 100x's better in person, the way it echoes off walls and buildings, this warm weather has just been an excuse to drop both windows and enjoy the noise! :)

Aye, MK4s look the best of the range of top golfs.

I don't know why they got rid of the V6. Great noise, great noise and have I mentioned the noise yet.

Amazing.

All of the top'o'range VWs are now "R" models. They have dropped the -32 or -36 bits from the names. They will still be the most powerful versions of each model though... so I bet they will sell them! :D

Modern cars makers are all going for smaller capacity engines to be a bit greener.
