having a mooch under my bonnet at the weekend, whilst running boost gauge hosing, and looks like i've got leaks from the injector seats.

I'll be replacing the seats and O-rings, but Elsawin mentions a sealant and also gives the part number. I havent enquired about price yet, but I don't want to be paying a silly price from the stealers for some glorified superglue.

Just wondered what anyone else who's done this has used and if anyone knew the rough prices for the 8x o-rings, 4x injector seats and the sealant.

O rings are about £2.50 each and you need 8

Seats are about same price

I used normal thread lock on the seats.....you need tool to remove the seats to, I couldn't find one so my mate made me one.

Cheers Adam.

£2.50 for each O-ring! I was expecting them to be about 60p each, and even thats extortionate!

Did you use Blue or red threadlock? I can 'borrow' some of this from work, as we use it on the RC cars.

I'll have to look into this special tool aswell.. may not get round to it this weekend though as I've got exhaust that I'll be fitting.

cheers adam. Guess these will be the same as Octy VRS, as they use the AUQ engine. If so, it'll save me a 25mile round trip.

You still selling up btw?
