Forge TIP

Right need some pics of a fitted tip on a 1.8t FR or Cupra. I have mine fitted and have done for some time but the other day i noticed some sort of black coolant pipe pushing against it need the bottom before it hits the turbo.

Any pics of anyone else with it fitted looking down towards the turbo would be great. Just want to make sure its fitted right.

i had that problem with mine.i removed the big allen bolt holding the hard pipe in place then moved the pipe off the tip and refitted the bolt that holds it off the tip so the hard pipe isnt bolted in place but held out the way by the bolt.
i hope that makes sence to you.

kind of does but where is the bolt threaded into or is it jammed somewhere? the way its pushing against it is giving the tip a bottle neck again

the bolt is threaded into the engine the bolt gets put back where its come from but not with the hard pipe attached,so when the bolt is put back in and tightened its holding the hard pipe off the tip.
your see what i mean when you come to do it or you should do.

no rattles atall the hard pipe is held firmly out of the way and off the tip it cant be moved unless i remove the bolt.
