Hmmm...

Just had a call from the garage...

Suspected drive shaft problem seems to be confirmed. Initially i'll be needing new inner CV bushes, this however potentially means replacing the driveshaft, which apparently does not look clever!!

I'm looking at a total bill of around £400 :( Parts however are on backorder from Seat with a 7 day wait!! Tempted to get another garage to have a look at it, just to confirm a driveshaft issue, I have never heard of this before!

Some good news, my gearbox is fine.

Just a quick update.

Noise stopped for a few days, then got worse, now it is really bad :(

Got some bars really cheap, and as I already had a bike mount thought i'd pop them on. Think they look cool :D However please do ignore the state of my car, not been washed for 2 weeks now due to lack of time :(

Adam - After trawling through ebay for a month or so I was lucky enough to find these, most are crap ebay ones and very expensive. These are a good brand, easy to fit, and cost be the grand total of £45 posted :D I was going to try and make the meet, just been too busy recently though, i'm going to try and make the April one though!

Keep looking on ebay Scott, you'll find soem eventually! Only thing I will say, it doesn't half make the wind issues of the Ibiza a little worse ;)

[B)]

Just put the bike rack on tonight, no more shite inside the car! What rubber seal?

Fail by my though...
Was driving home and it was raining, then all of a sudden water started to drip inside the car... Only when I got home to have a look I realised that the little circular things go in the hole for a reason, this making it flush with the roof

in the little gullys where the clips slide throught the bars i got some rubber bits to seal them so you dont get wind whistle and noise

you will struggle to do your headlights pal i tried to do the protectors ive got and failed misserably because the curve of the lens is to much. i went to a window tinting place and they couldnt do it because they couldnt heat it as the protectors are plastic dont know whether it would be any different for the headights themselves.... sorry bout the essay lol

The lamin-x stuff is good, can tint alsorts of shapes, the headlights shouldnt be a problem, you can heat the stuff up and its goes over anything. I was gonna smoke my headlights with it in the summer when i cba to take them out, need to do my spare fr lights fully red aswell!

How much did you get and what for? I've only done my fogs so far but seemed easy to work with, got all the bulbs and resistors ready to do the rears but havnt got round to getting any yet lol

Stuff lasts well too, fogs have been done fooking ages now and still looks great!
