I'll try and keep it short. i replaced my n75 valve last week due to fluctuating boost and it seemed to sought it out a treat my mate put it on a wideband and seemed to be fueling great too. it was ok for about a week but for the last few days its taking alot longer to start sounding a bit chocked up but when started its fine. i dont normally take it past 5000 rpm but i gave ut a bit a few nights ago and when it got to about 5 grand it seemed to hesitate then started to backfire like it was on the rev limiter and chucked out a cloud of black smoke, tried to take it past 5 grand a few times now and the same every time. sorry for the long thread just gettin the ump got to replace the clutch and flywheel this weekend along with bushes and sought the windows seemed to come all at once. i would love some pointers many thanks. ps the car is revo stage 1 de cat forge front mount no mods out of the ordinary.

its done 114,000 so it wouldn't surprise me if it would need a new one. not running a 4 bar as im only stage 1 but still running a de cat should I put one on it . I have got everything bar a downpipe for stage 2 but I spoke to bill from badger5 and he said you loose how aggressive it is and im only on a k03 what is your thoughts stage 2 or not . cheers

You got me thinking now Rob, Mines 105k, 4bar stage 2, may think about upgrading. Option of LCR or Whalbro upgrade (spelling!) isn't it?

Yeah they're the main options, though an inline Walbro/Bosch pump only boosts what the standard in-tank pump provides so it shouldn't be installed to compensate for the OE pumps shortcomings.

Stage 1 Revo? If so then the standard Stage 2 map is often disappointing for most, though it can be tweaked for better results.

I'd get some logs on VAG COM to see what's going on
