The pic looks right but on the listing it goes on about getting the part no. correct ect. ect

There is only a finite number of parts as they're used throughout the VAG range so you probably do have the right one. I wouldn't recomend getting an Ebay one though, it needs to be a top quality part otherwise you won't be any better off. The right part from GSF or Eurocarparts won't cost much more, and they're a lot better quality.

sorry to hijack. do GSF do mafs for LCRs? cant find it on there website

Don't go by GSF's website if you want to know what they have, half the parts they have in stock aren't listed. The amount of stuff listed online for my Toledo is pathetic, but I've never yet failed to get a part from them. Well, apart from a coil pack, but they were out of stock everywhere!!

EuroCarparts have a better online presence and you should be able to find the appropriate part.

Yeah, same here! It really needs someone to get in there and completely redo it. It's not as if the parts are missing, for example my car uses lots of parts that mark 4 Golfs use, and that section of the site is jam packed with spares. It wouldn't take much to go through the parts and cars, and do a bit of cross referencing.

Even phoning them up would do the trick, I've been to a fair few branches and they're all more than willing to assist. It's one of the reasons why I wanted a VAG car, you don't get that service from the Vauxhall or Ford spares shops.
