on what grounds?????that to me sounds like someones opinion.
Of course you will get gains, inlet temps drop, meaning timing can be advanced, resulting ion more power simple as that. but gains will dependant on mapping
running it as a stand alone mod with no map tweakages will not give much at all.
the yanks on the forums over there, are prone to over exagerating but all say the difference was quite big, the guys on the evos and suburus swear by WMI as well, and they us it on their std turbos as well as uprated BT's.
so far in the research i have done which is quite thorough, i have found an incredible amount of positive info, with very little to say that gaons are not to be had, and the only issues that seem to get highlighted seem to e the result of poor mapping
Not doubting it. However my source builds time attack cars with big turbos on our 2.0T engine here in the UK. Owen - remember to make that call. I think you may find it to be worthwhile.
Yanks rely on it so much because they cant get 99 ron fuel like we can, some cars have to run on 91ron which is a shame, me and pov looking into our kits at the mo but im half thinking of just using the screen wash reservoir... But what if i accidently do the screen wash
after all, screenwash is normally methanol based anyway.
so if you got methenol and mixed it 20/50% would it be ok to use as screenwash? appart from the fumes. i mean will it damage paint or anything?
I never had any paint damage with a 50/50 mix, but as said, I never used it heavily. I put RainX on the screen instead - and it didn't strip the RainX. I have since moved to a separate wmi tank.
any reason why you have changed to a seperate tank rather than washer tank
There petrol has a different rating to ours but the numbers are still eqivilent.Yanks rely on it so much because they cant get 99 ron fuel like we can, some cars have to run on 91ron which is a shame, me and pov looking into our kits at the mo but im half thinking of just using the screen wash reservoir...
