I didn't realise you could active auto roll windows via VCDS, if you know what you are doing i'll let you loose on my car.

How much would you charge?

ChrisGTL:

i only got the interface last week,

but have succesfully scanned my car for faults and cleared them

and be through the CCM to activated alarm beep

you know yourself, nothing happens till code is changed, if the option is not there, nothing has been changed, if i tick the box and it does not work, just go back into the ccm and put it back to standard.

but before i make the changes i copy the original code

I've already done the alarm bleep, disabled auto-locks, disabled selective unlocking.

Just need to do the auto-roll windows now........if it can be done then i'll be very happy.

The auto windows is in the same module.
but are called "power windows"

do you need the auto windows where you keep hold of the unlock/lock button to roll them up and down?

Ditto mate.

All my bits have turned up so i've done the auto windows via VDS-PRO.

Also got the Tacho cable now, so I can programme keys and other things on the dashboard.

LOL cool,
Was it easy enough to do?

Where did you get VAG TACHO from?

Yes it was easy enough, just a case of changing 3 values in the convenience module. I shall find the instructions for you.

I got VAG TACHO from ebay, had a little go with it tonight but had alot on so didn't really find out whats what with it all. I'm going to have a better look at it on Friday.

It did connect though, with my new TACHO USB cable. :)
