Just got home from the SCN Manchester meet and we also gatecrashed the R32OC meet

Decided i needed to scan for errors before car goes in for warranty work tommorow and i also decided i needed to fill washer bottle, So i opened bonnet and it was filthy under there so decided to give it a quick wipe and also decided to do some weight loss! And remove the sound deadening

Yeh John told me you had a busy weekend and then where off to Mexico hope it went well mate

I was going to paint it red but now im just going to paint the TDI bit red and leave it.The cover itself is loose anyway so no point wasting money on it

Re: AndrewJB's Mk2 Leon FR 2.0 16V TDI

Cars been to AwesomeGTI today and had one of these fitted:

new-Mount.jpg

We had some problems getting the right one to fit, The MK5 Golf one didnt fit so in the end we found out it was a MK6 Golf GTI one that fit's

First Impressions, Car definitely pulls away alot better in 1st,2nd and 3rd and the Gear changes are smoother

Downside tho is the car now really vibrates when idleing and in reverse it vibrates even more.....Power over comfort tho :cartman:

Basically you push it into the Mount and it makes the mount alot solider,it makes the car Vibrate badly but it now allows me to use 1st gear and 2nd gear

Pod was a bad day really started off running 16.8's and got down to a 16'3, I should be running 14.4's

Mixture of Bad Launches,No grip to launch with,Rubbish tyres

I can launch the car alot better since fitting the Insert so hopefully next time i might be able to get alot better times

Decided i wanted to get rid of the "Look at me" FR Badge

Before:

P1000074.jpg

And decided to replace it with a SEAT All Red TDI Badge

P1000080.jpg

Unfortunately its hard to get a picture of it with it being Red on Red but in real it can be seen

Aaa ok, I've just bought an FR550 and have been toying with the idea of having it done...my look is that something catastrophic engine wise will go as soon as I have it done and they'll turn their nose up!

Like the sneaky little TDi badge...give some people a frightening surprise thinking it's 'only' a leon diesel...

Good looking car you've got
