i thought on the Leons the spokes are sticking out a bit where they meet the outer rim...whereas the ibiza cupras are flush along the outer rim

Difficult to see the colour difference there, but there is a difference.

I'm sure if you ask Scott (red car above), he'd give you any numbers on the back, and I can tell you the numbers on mine.

around the centre hub the Leon wheels are flush whereas the Ibiza ones have indentations between the twin spokes

you can also see where i was coming from in my previous post...the Leon wheel spokes stick out right to the edge of the outer rim, the Ibiza ones fase out just before the outer edge

only slight differences but you can tell ;)

Yeh I'd agree from those pictures. I wonder if the Leon ones will clear the Cupra brakes

But I agree the is a slight curve to the outer face between the two wheels as well!

That is the key point I think. The face of the Cupra wheel sticks out beyond the outer edge of the rim, whereas the FR+ wheel is completely flat. I think it's unlikely that the FR+ wheels will clear the brakes for that reason.

there is a difference becuase i have leon ones, above is my car

ibiza cupra rims has curved faces and where they meet in the centre there is recesses

leon FR+ alloys have flat faces andno recesses

leon ones are nice IMO, not just because i have a set, i just genuinly think so

Techie has standard brakes on his.

and if the wheels will clear the mk1 leon brembos they should clear the ap racing 4 pots, i had similar clearance issues with both sets of 4 pots with my bbs wheels! Both sets of calipers needs about 65mm from disc to spoke

Techie's are 288mm brakes and 18" LCR wheels! So nothing to really help the question here as its about 17" wheels with AP 4pots!
