Glad to see you're back online, just to let you know I was on holiday this last week - my flights where from Manachester airport so I drove down and back up, managed to do it easily in one tank! 450 + mile round trip! - Will add a photo tomorrow when I can plug my phone in and download the image...
Can't complain with that, never thought a 1.2 Petrol could manage a 450 + round trip on a single tank of fuel! :p

borrowed a machine polisher off Vroomtshh, thanks mate. Has a go on the car today and its shiny shiny, nah looks awesome. Gave it a wash, masked up some bits, Went over it with super resin polish to start and then meguires tech wax 2.0. Sprayed some water from the hose to see how it was beading....very nice. anyways heres the photos.

nice detailing work scott, if only we had the weather for you to show it off!!
what are you planning on doing next mate? ever thought of sticking a turbo in it?for an extra bit of power without the huge costs of an engine swap?

nah the 1.2 engine couldnt handle a turbo. would probably just blow up tbh. would be a first if i did do it but nah. plans for this year are as follows.

refurb the alloys
possibly get all front grill + bottom lip painted (colour not decided) and rear valance too.
fix passenger side window tint
maybe paint the centre console (colour not decided)
get bump strips and mirrors re-painted (laquer peel in places)

sounds good mate....when i painted the console in the corsa i stuck with one simple rule....colour of calipers= colour of console, keeps it clean and simple...would look good imo in the red mate...but you can experiment like i did i suppose:)[B)]
