I've had a search but could not find anything specific.

Has anyone tinted their headlights with film, like lamin-x or FlyEyes?

I've seen some pics on other cars but not a mk1 Leon and I was thinking of doing mine but not sure what to get.

Cheers. I guess you have to take them off at night then?

Anyone else tint their lights with film rather than spray? Can't believe nobody has done this...

i used lamin-x really good quality stuff, you do notice the amount of light output once fitted, well i did as i went for the darkest tint.

I have used Lamin-x and its great stuff, it is slightly breathable so you dont have to worry about small air bubbles as they come out after about a month. If you follow the instructions its easy to apply and they are easily removable when you get bored, Plus i know that the yellow and dark tints are perfectly legal :D

That looks sweet. Is that the gunsmoke? Easy to stick on?

yes mate, i think its called gun smoke, theres 2 mains ways of sticking it on,

first is to wet the surface then wet the film, them get it in place then start squeegying out the water with a hot air gun, the other is to just stick it straight on, iv always found doing it the first way far more accurate.

I had mine on for a few months and when it come to taking it off, just give it a hard tug and it comes straight off.
