If you want uprated discs, Grooved and dimpled ones are the way to go such as EBC's Turbo Grooved Discs (TGDs). Drilled discs are prone to cracking and too many wide grooves make them Noisy. If you want a quieter braking, EBC's Black slotted discs are very good.

i used to have green stuff pads, and ebc grooved discs, they went ok round the Ring... however there was a very light judder through the steering, so i stripped them back down, nothing obviously wrong, assuming it was the pads.

(judder before the ring so pretty sure they didnt overheat.)

well it is about pads and fluid... but its about discs too, cheap ones that cant handle heat will soon warp with some hard driving.

depends if you want to go round tracks and how hard you push. i always tend to think you get what you pay for.
