LOL! I need a serial cable so I can activate auto-roll windows.

Shame the KVW100 will only work once per car

The cable iv got HEX-CAN-USB covers all cars, from 1992 (with 2x2 adapter) to now.

The USB part is just the end that plugs into the laptop

I think you need to post 10 times before PM's are available to you.

Auto-roll windows can'be be done via VAG-COM on my car. I need something called VDS_PRO which only works under DOS......thats why the USB cable wont work

depending on cable/softeware/car

1 select control module
2 central conv
3 coding 2
4 long coding helper
5 keep going through the section till the power windows
6 you will see the tick boxes, for "active" all should be ticked

if its a ebay cable and a share version of VCDS (409) if so it probably wont,
is the button there "coding II"?

hi there mate do you still have your VAG and would you be able to rees my car as the emissions light has just come on car seems to be driving ok

its an 04 audi A3 2.0 fsi

That might be why then, but iv looked at some thread abouts VW and SEAT about the MS-DOS serial way, but then some say they have done it with VCDS?
