head light tinting

Cheers mate. I might be getting some of those Dectane lights in the future so will probably do those in it. Might remove the rear spray tint and then red do them in the FLY EYES KIT.

... I'm probably going to get onslaught of abuse for the darkness of the rear ones but I keep assuring people that the same amount of light is emitted due to having brighter rear bulbs!

ah sod it mate, limits are there to be pushed, break the mold, be different and all that jazz lol!

the pics with lights on look plenty bright to me, legally speaking the only bit you defo arent meant to tint are the reflectors, iv done mine though

just pop a couple of sticky on ones on the rear bumper for MOT, sorted! although to be fair i am gonna try to figure out something that looks cool reflector wise so i can stay right, bend but don't break or whatever.

the only real concern i have is insurance and how the tints might affect that:think:

just trying to save ya some aggro from the fuzzies that's all ;) and if you need a bare legal reflector get a sticky one off the local bike shop for the corner of the plate as there is no size requirement stated at present

anyway that fly-eyes mesh how pliable and cuttable is it ?

I know you are :)

Well the reflectors reflect just as normal. When you have headlights shining on them there is no way you know its on. They simply peel off anyway if i'm unlucky enough to get collared by a copper with hawk eye.

Thanks for the tip on the reflector too.

The Fly Eye Kit is very pliable. With too much heat from even a hairdryer you can turn the stuff to almost a liquid. So best to have a high setting but 'waft' it over the vinyl as installing. Cutting wise a stanley knife will suffice. It cuts where you want it to cut and is easier to do straight lines due to all the tiny holes acting as guides.

There's a pretty decent installation video on youtube.

Here ya go!
