ASTI

They are the same mate, they are re branded racelands called rokkor I put mine on the other week, when you send payment it went to raceland and on the reciept it has a raceland stamp lol, they ride much better than standard and suprising comfy tbh and you don't need shorter droplinks

Wicked....how low can u lower them coz the rokkor ones only say 65mm but the raceland ones sat 30-120mm

Cheers

having trouble getting a replacement now. the seller said he has sent one and gave me a tracking number for UPS. when i tracked the item it showed the latest scan was in tamworth UK. however when i rang UPS to see what was taking so long, they said its just a logistics scan and not a physical scan and that the item may not have even been shipped!??? they then said the seller has to contact them and raise an investigation. i have told the seller and am now waiting to hear some feedback. Not happy with the service or the product. my advice DO NOT BUY

i'd just go with a decent make that last, and not something that u have to replace every5-6months

We'll see, theres loadsa rave reviews on these on the MKIV forums, with loads high mileage cars with no problems.

I've seen rusted KW's and Konis with blown shocks, does that make them :censored:

Fitted my Rokkor ( aka Raceland ) coilovers, the ride is still firm but much better than the standard set up and can't believe how low these things go :-o

I'm running no adjusters at the back and they probably drop another 20mm at the front if i sorted the arches out. :funk:

That is low at the front! :) I reckon you might raise the front after a while. Any scrubbing issues?
Better than standard set-up for ride... really? I would have thought the cheapo ones were worse but I could be wrong!

Obviously you haven't driven a Cupra, anything is an improvement.

Only rubs the under tray on the narrow speed humps.

I really can't see why people take so much offence to running cheap coilovers. If you research them Raceland are possibly the best of the "Cheap" ones. Especiallly for ride quality.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about the bargain mods if it is just as good as spending a fortune! I have driven a Cupra, but I have yet to drive one on coilovers.

I have to agree with you. Surely anything is an improvement. I haven't got coilovers on mine yet, but i've saved the Raceland ones on my ebay page so when i have enough money im going to get them.

So i take it from you there a good buy? Obviously the price is great. But ride quality?

For the money the quality is very good, the rides firm but not banging and crashing like the OE setup. Much better ride than any car i've lowered on just springs.

Not going to handle as well as a set of KW V3's but for the price you can't go wrong and a 3 year gaurantee thrown in.

I got these ones http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160412146063&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

do these coilovers handle better than standard cupra shocks and springs though? i know the standard suspension is crashy but i think they handle the roads brilliant even you if do have to avoid every bump and drain.
i always say you get what you pay for so im wondering do they make the car handle better than the standard suspension as standard probally isnt cheap like these coilovers are it seems to me there used to get low rather than the sole purpose of making the car handle well or better.
