Hey guys,

HAs anyone on here got 3/4 size plates? And if so do you have any pictures?

Was wanting to get these but I've noticed that for soem reasons the plates are screwed on and hope holes will not be too noticeable if I put smaller ones on.... :(

Also are these legal?

Cheers

I have these, the local cops have seen me but don't seem concerned.

I think it's important to keep the legal lettering and correct spacing though, otherwise they will pull you for sure.

I covered the original holes with black insulation tape which is almost invisible...

I got them online, I think it was from 'my show plates', or similar website.

I like it a lot better as it allows more air to the radiator and looks better than the full width plate.

I forgot to say that I have a personalised plate so there is less letters than normal, not sure how the cops would react if it was a full reg with 5 letters and 2 numbers on such a small plate...

As long as the characters are of the correct size and spacing along with Font the actual plate size doe not matter. DVLA are having a tough crackdown on plates mainly due to the ability of ANPR to read plates. Hence stopping any logo other than Euro or GB being aloud on the plate ends as well and only the standard Font being allowed.
