little update been a while could not make it to the SCN RR day last sat "sorry to all that wanted a look around her" as i had an offer that i could not turn down a bit of free test time at bruntingthorpe
tryed making a little vid as it went off the clock had to back off as i s**t myself it was my first time past 160mph but you carnt really make much out speeed wise

well, i went in the polo today thinking its going to be fast but i've being on bikes like R1's and gsxr1000 and its not going to compare anything like them speed wise - how wronge was i, this polo is insane and was over taking big bikes and went past the white evo fq330 like it was in reverse, i must say i am impressed!!
after the guy in the white evo came over and said ''effing hell that polo is stupid, i was 100 yards in front of you balls out and 10 seconds later you were going past me''

Have you ever thought nitrogen in your tyres? Cos if you're gonna be doing 160mph with normal air in your tyres, they're gonna be getting fooking hot and you dont wanna have a blow out at that sorta speed! 
Immense car though! 160mph must be scary! Most I ever got to was 135ish in my hybrid Ibiza tdi....and on coilovers that was fooking scary! Every bump felt like the car was gonna take off!

Nitrogen for tyres is advertising rubbish, air is 70% nitrogen to start with and I don't quite see how they would remove all the air from a tyre to start with to make sure you got 100% nitrogen in there.

Your Ibiza would have sailed past 135, ive had mine upto that on the speedo with a little left to go.

Like I say, it was getting a bit skatty and the road was a bit bumpy, I gave up before the car did!

will not be doing that king of speed again was a chance to do it legal and safe not
going to use nitrogen

Was that a VBox suckered to your windscreen? has a little SD card in it type jobbie?
(I have one of those for personal testing.. gret kit, but a bit slow aquiring satellites initially)
Have they confirmed what issue and feature it will be in?
I will have to get my ibiza down there.. for some "testing" - lol
(drove mine last night briefly around the block.. and its reminded me how scarey it actually is)

do know what issue yet think it might be mays as got a couple of aprils mags off them yesterday
ya think it was a vbox thing not too sure as it was not mine had the sd card slot have some fun there first real trip out in the polo was a good day

dont be so sure... accurate vbox timing is'nt speedo timing which is miles out often
eg.. MrsB Lupo, Vmax at Brunters with just over 200bhp was 138mph actual speed.
