Taken from Millteks website.

Q. What is a resonator and what's the difference between a resonated and non-resonated exhaust system?

A. A resonator is a chamber in the exhaust system that contains a specific volume of air
which is designed to cancel out certain frequencies of sound (made by the engine) - making the exhaust noise quieter.

Therefore, a non-resonated exhaust system will give you extra performance and a louder exhaust note and the resonated system will give you extra performance without increasing the exhaust noise much.

I think that the 'jet' tips are noticeably than stock tips.

They are what I plumped for too to keep as OEM as possible.

As said before, with Milltek you get what you pay for. They are not the cheapest by far but they are well made and built to last.

i couldnt get a big enough discount through work from miltek so opted for a stainless jetex twin tailpipe, just hope it makes it quiter than it is now. Anyone running a jetex system, what does it sound like want to hear it, should be getting it next week hopefully.

Hi mate,
Sorry just seen this thread.
I've got a Jetex system on mine and it's been great, i have also fitted a milltek de-cat pipe and the car still sounds fine, the only problem was the downpipe doesn't fit that well so I need to get back under the car and sort it at some point, the Jetex system was a great fit though. The jetex system is none resonated by the way.

No not at all, just a nice wooosh as you go through the gears but not over the top at all and the car feels alot smoother to drive over standard aswell.
Which tailpipe design have you gone for? Sounds like Jetex are waiting for more stock to arrive but shouldn't be much longer though.
