Nottm SEAT Independent Specialist...???

Anyone on here used DSB Autocare in Bulwell, Nottingham for their Mk 2's? Or anyone have experience of / know anyone else using them for any SEAT?

They claim to be SEAT - Skoda - VW specialists so just wondered if there was any background info on them before I contemplate letting them loose under my bonnet...

They have this web site which would suggest involvement with Skoda and maybe Biskoda.

BTW: I have searched and found recommendation for Mk 1 LCR and Skoda, but I'm thinking about my FR 170TDI DPF...

Hi mate.

I used Sports Tech Limited in Ilkeston last service as they specialise in AUDI/BMW/MERC and SEATs.

Primarily because they also revo dealers and understand the mod scene if you want any done.

Good bunch of lads and I recommend them, plus they give you the loaner car while in for a service.

Based at;
Unit 3 Griffon Court
Quarry Hill Inductrial Park
Ilkeston

Last year was £190 for 10K service with fully synth oil

However, seeing as JBS are not too far away may use them next time, not sure yet?

Little bit of a pig to find if I recall but goos guys and certainly past experience suggests a good outfit.

Give 'em a call.

If you tell 'em they came recommended by a member of this forum with a red K1 who's been in previously they may knock a few quid off for you!

I know Quarry Hill and live in Sandiacre myself

I was born and brought up in Sandiacre. :) Went to Ladycross, then Cloudside, then Friesland... I remember them building the A52 by-pass and blasting the rock out of "Stoney Clouds" to build the M1... (Showing my age now )

Ah, the memories come flooding back!

I am another Nottingham person family in Bullwell and live in WB all my life. Been on duty in Kimberley and Eastwood, now out at East Leake. Fed up with the Bloomin M1 seems to have taken forever getting the M1 sorted. May use JBS myself as inlaws leave not far from them. Have a good phone around next year.

I might give them a call as well, I know Quarry Hill and live in Sandiacre myself so might be a nice local option. Their servicing prices seem expensive but that may be because they seem to associate themselves more with the prestige marques (Audi, BMW, Merc don't exactly scream "sensible prices").

I think £190 for 10k service was cheaper than the local stealer if I recall so not too bad.

Also 50 quid of that service was 'cause i wanted fully syn oil

As I said if it local to you and knowing that they do stuff for modded vehicle and will slap a revo trial on for you got to be worth a shot.

Hope you get a good service whatever option you choose. Good Luck

I'll be due my 20K service in next couple of months so prob back down there myself unless I fancy trying JBS
