Despite regular complaints from the neighbours, Phil leaves his pensioner bench to pee against the Merc.
It does look very nice anyway tbf, so are you in it tomoz then Phil and which one will be doing the up and coming track day now
Yep, will take it to work tomorrow.
The Silver one will be our Track Toy, the lads at Constella have worked wonders on it, and its a totally different car. Im not kidding , it flies.
Silver Pug will be wizzing around Donnington , 5pm today. should be fun. We were going to use our track day Colway Tyres, ( but the weather is not looking good. )
Red Pug is booked in at Skip Brown on Monday to have the Carbs set up and to see what further tuning is available.
Let us know how you get on with the Colways. Always been tempted by them but put off by the fact they are mainly for tarmac rallys, opposed to trackday tarmac.
Hmmm, read up quite a bit on them, they are classed as a budget tyre, a remould i think plus the fact that Colway no longer are trading.
Ive got Toyo 888 on the red one, and they look the dogs nuts.
Little bit of an update on my Red Pug,
After two Trackdays, the Pug was showing signs of fatigue and was booked in Constella Ltd in Leicestershire for some TLC
So after a Rearbeam refurb, Suspension lift, Baffled Sump , new shells, bearings, Wishbones and Driveshafts and other bits and bobs, a quickshift and gear linkages fitted.
This weekend, the pug is going on a diet, and everything that is not required will be removed. We intend to remove the Sun Roof and replace with a bonded sheet, remove all the carpet and headlining, remove part of the dash and all the electrics from the doors etc.
Full Set of Polycarbonate Windows is arriving Friday, along with two brand new Front Wings , Walter should be looking quite tidy for its next outing at Cadwell on 25th March. Also on the look out for a fibre glass bonnet. !
It was Rolling Roaded today, and hit a healthy 181 BHP.........
Glad to see walter is being looked after and gets the hammer it needs on the track.
is the audi gone now or keeping it ?
