Hi, i think i am going to pick up some alloys later in the week and was wondering which locking wheel nuts i should buy and if any will fit? I found a review so was wondering if they will fit and if it's recommended to put two locking nuts on each wheel (so buy two different styles)?

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/products/products/208522/locking_wheel_bolts.html

Also just searching Locking wheelnut i found a ton of pages selling wheelnut removers that can remove 100% of nuts so am i wasting my time and money buying them?

I've got a set of McGard locking bolts on my Ibiza. They're good quality and haven't corroded in the 2 years that I've had them.

But as you said if somebody really wants to steal your wheels then there are plenty of tools out there to help them!

Thanks, i'll go for them then , do you think i should buy a cheap set as well so 2 out of 5 nuts are locking on each wheel?

I've got one on each wheel but it's up to you really. One of my mates had five different locking nuts on each wheel!

lol thats crazy! I was told that locking nuts aren't as strong as teh normal nuts so its best not to go over 2? I'm thinking of getting spacers in the future though so will i need to replace the nuts if i get spacers or will they still fit?

He only used to use five different nuts on his show wheels as he liked the look of the McGard nuts

It depends what kind of spacers you go for. Most people go for spacers which bolt to the hub and then the wheel bolts to the spacer. If you go for that type then you can use your original wheel bolts and locking bolt
