i want to remap my leon fr, first i want to know if i can do it with my own ecu with a chip

i have been honda owner always and i have no idea what i have to do with my leon fr to tune

im thinking to make FMIC, hallman boost controller and change the turbocharger but i need to know how to remap before this

what turbocharger type should i put on it?
need i to change the manifold to change the turbocharger?

please, give me some advice

my goal is 200whp, i have 162whp right now , thanks

More serial port remapping on the leon through the diagnosis port.

Is it a petrol 1.8t? if so 200WHP shouldn't be that hard using the standard turbo setup.

have a search on remaps and youll find all the info you need

theres more to turbo swaps than just manifolds.

200bhp is achievable from map alone.

yes, is a petrol 1.8 20vt

let me try if i get u, to remap the stock ecu i just need to connect to a program?

so if i want 200whp i dont need to change turbochanger

how much psi can handle stock injectors?

thanks, sorry for all the question but im new on this car

To be honest I don't know about self mapping, we usually get tuners to remap our cars rather than soldering in chips.

200WHP is ok on the standard KO3s turbo.

a stage 1 map is usually 205-220bhp and stage 2 is usually 225-245 [thats at flywheel]

whats 200whp in bhp??

stock injectors will be fine for that power.

stage 2 maps go to circa 20-22psi max holding to around 12-15

you cant remap through your own software, unless you have acces to tuners software... i.e bluefin

not reach 230bhp with just that though.

stage 2 map, high flow dp and sports cat, uprated tip, uprated dv, cold air induction will see 230bhp ish

APR is big in the USA?

Just an uprated dumpvalve and maybe filter and stage1 should be ok.

to be honest im not from usa but the only way i can get something is to send at a company in usa then they send me to my country, so i know arp performance but i dont know how big is in usa

Where are you from?

Might be worth asking some of the forum sponsors if they have dealers that do maps where you are?

Ahh! well a stage 1 map is usually pre written so you could remove your ECU and send it off to be mapped.

Maybe one of the forum sponsors could help you with this.

ok thanks for all, ill try to get it with one of the programmers (i dont know how u say the person that make the program) we have here
