I know!

It was going to be just one i didnt really care too much about, but this is absolutly mint, its in too good of shape to let the dog ruin.

Duke fit's comfortably in the boot of the leon, just have to remove the sub and amp which i didnt want to do, but its going in the polo eventually haha

I cant do a lot of things to the leon myself as half the time im too worried incase i break something with all the electronic. This is a good ole fashioned carb, and I can just play with it whenever. I need the Leon all the time, so I'm gonna just finish off with the suspension I think and may possibly get it some new wheels. I cant bring myself to get rid of it so I'm gonna use it like I always do, everyday lol

The polo is something I can play with, without worrying too much about breaking things, as I can still get to work in the Leon :)

I know its mad, but hey ho, thats how i roll....

Lol, fair enough!

What route you going down with the polo then? Sitting it's arse on the road on 15s proper euro style?

What engine has it got?

Final Update...

Well I was wrong..:headhurt:

Duke is too big for the back of the Leon, and was having a few problems with a whining turbo and such.... so I'm afraid to say the Leon has had to go:(

Was sad to see it go, but Im rolling in a 56 plate Passat 2.0TDI SE estate now which I'm quite happy with.:)

A lot less miles on it lol, better on fuel, bigger, dead comfy and 140 horsies on tap as standard, so its quite nippy.

Im going to continue to use the forum as Ive gotton to know a couple of great guys on here, and still cant deny my love of seats.. maybe in a few years I can get the Exeo ST (out of my price range atm..)

Hope everyone is ok

Regards
Rob

Atleast you've stayed with VAG!

My dad had a new passat 2.0 tdi estate as a demo, and I had a go and was a really nice quick comfortable car! I liked it anyway.

Any pics? :)

No pics yet, as they "valeted" it crap, and after a few trips to work its covered in traffic film..
Its a similar blue to the leon, but a bit darker, and no pearl :(
I am still missing the Leon, as hands down it was a better looking car, but this ticks all the boxes, and yep, I wanted to stay VAG. :)

VAG TDI's are the best diesel's on the market in my view, was tempted by a 325 estate, but theyre not as economical for not much more power gains. Also tried an A4 Estate, but couldnt justify paying more just for the badge.

Averaging 50mpg, and Ive not been hanging around as I got them to put half a tank of juice in with the deal lol. Got it down to 11mpg a couple of times though

I'll probably get pics at the weekend if I get chance to wash it, you know what its like with our weather...

Anyway, glad you guys haven't disowned me for not getting another Seat lol

And I just realised Im "so scene" now, with two VW's :cartman:

Hey, i can see that you have fitted a honeycomb grill on your leon, do you have any pictures of how you done it? and of the car with the honeycomb grill on? as im thinking to do this myself, however not sure how to remove bumper as the trim has to come off to remove it doesnt it? (i think) however i dont know how to pull the trim off without damaging it! any advice on how it should be done? and where to obtain the grill itself for around what price, thanks Alot, your help will be much apriciated, Alex Black seat leon sx 2004, about the splitter on the front, which one did you buy and where from? also any tips on fitting it? as i was looking to get somwthing for mine, but the cupra r bumpers are too expensive, id be happy with a splitter like yours, looks really good! Thanks again Alex

erm lol it was a long time ago now mate

Basicly you need to get a honeycomb grill from a cupra (MY03/facelift), whip the bumper off, remove the old grill. And you have to cut chunks out of the new grill as it has a backing (its designed to fit in the facelift bumper) When you see the new grill you will see what I mean.

Its a big job really for just a grill, you have to remove the arch linings aswell to take the bumper off...

I may have some photo's somewhere of it all in pieces, il have a search for you

Thanks Alot mate, really appriciated, i have already ordered everything, so will have to give it a go, but yeah pictures would really hope to know what to expect, the other thing im not too sure about is the trim, how do i get the bumper trim off to get to the bolts without damaging the paintwork? Any extra advice that you could give me would help ALOT! Thanks Alex

BTW did you use a cupra r splitter?
