Golf interior in Ibiza

Hi all,

I am after a vr6 interior for my Ibiza mk2, i think that the seats should be able to fit in the car fine, but will the door cards from a golf mk3 fit on the doors of a ibiza mk2? I have a 3 door version so was wondering if perhaps interior cards from a golf mk3 will be the same fittings?

Damn, ah well guess i will need to look at getting a full interior from a scrapped car or on fleabay. I would rather have a full matching set than vr6 seats with vomit pattern door cards.

i think the ibiza mk3 had a leather door card option. they fit straight on.

Hmm i will have a look in to it. If they did a black door card interior then that would be great as it would match my dash as well.

Front Seats will go straight in... Rears am unsure about... Door Cards from a VR6 are a no no

However i do know you can remove the VR6 fabric on the rears and fit around the seat foam provided its the same layout. i.e. 60/40 split or no split

It wouldnt take that much to refabric the doorcards yourself to something that matches the vr6 seats.

Do you have any tips on how i can refabric my doorcards? If i can refabric the doorcards then i might just get some nice matching seat covers instead of new seats for my car.

I havent done it myself but from having the doorcard off but I think it will just be a case of cutting out the cloth section and replacing with fabric of your choice.
