Which mk4 - petrol or diesel?

Well i have benn away this weekend, in total i have covered 310miles, and it was a pleasure to do it in the Ibiza. I have loved every minute. Noticed a few things about the Ibiza like the rear screen washer jet doesnt work!!! Taking it back to the company to have a look at it! Also tried to fit the stubby ariel and there is a anti theft system on it so i cant get it off! Will have another try when its warmer....

I have taken a few pics the weekend so i will try and post them later 2night!!!

For the anti-theft aerial, just unscrew it all the way, hold the base and give it a good solid tug - mine came off pretty easially.

I'm afraid other than get WD40 out and lube it up, I'm spent of ideas mate. Mine came off very easially when i did mine

Ive just sold my 1.4TDI Reference sport (80bhp) recently , well i say ive just sold it , i Sold it back to SEAT and theve sold it on
Was a cracking motor from new kept it two years , for 1 and 1/2 years it was running around 110bhp (Readers ride thread for its in me sig if you wanna have a look)

Your ibiza was nice. I wanted the diesel, get a nice map on it bobs your uncle! But saw the one i have now and kinda fell in love! Your leon is nice tho, love the colour!

i think mine is the 1.4 16v 85bhp sport!

check the rear brakes, if you have discs, you have the 100bhp, if they are drums you have the 85bhp

Yeah did in the end had it a few weeks now and love it!

I took it a 310 miles drive 4days after I got it and it never missed a beat, Planing to do it again in two weeks! (got a caravan down south)

I do like it, i mean compared to the Rover 25 1.4 i had before it, there is just a load more torque and more pull. Also is sounds a lot nicer than the Rover lol! The build quality is just so much nicer too.
How's yours doing?

Awrite ppl, just new to the site, just bought the 1.8 20vt, how did u's manage to get such cheap insurance, mines about 700 with 4yrs no claims lol, still total joy to drive, big smile on yer face when u put the foot down!!! Need to try figure how to use this site right enough, plus can anyone tell me how to set the Automatic frequency for the Radio, certain places its doesnt pick up the channel but cant figure out how set it!!! Any help would be grand cheers
