Been looking at getting a silicone TIP for my LCR, but there seems to be a lot of company's making these from various places (China, USA, UK) I don't want to pay the extortionate price of £140 from forge. Has anyone used any of the others? Any reviews?

A Few i have found

Anyone point me in the direction of a decent one at a decent price?

[email protected] THS do one for £70 ish inc postage and SCN discount, Im really happy with it. They do all the colours and very good service

as far as I know they have stopped doing silicon bits; so unless there are any left over...

Danny is correct, THS no longer sell silicone hoses. I bought a set of water hoses last month, and that was all they had left

That autobahn88 silicon is ok, I got the TB pipe on my LC and if it wasn't for the badge you wouldn't tell it apart from my Forge pipes, both about same thickness and ply :)

Dont buy the cheap ones, they WILL colapse under WOT. But cheap buy twice! Been there, done that, got the t-shirt, returned it etc... LOL

Can't really say that. Just because it's happened to you doesn't mean it will happen to everyone. As wolvotim has said, some people are on the standard tip with a remap. Personally i'd go with a forge/samco/sfs. Say something does goes wrong with it - how long will it be to send it back to china and get a replacement?

Hi mate,

I know its a bit of money, but the forge one is a good piece of kit. fitted really well in place of the original.

I'd say its worth the extra cash for piece of mind.

Cheers
