No you dont need pad sensors, but you can cut them off if you dont have an option.

Yes you did have all the right bits by the way from your description, your standard carrier bolts will work fine, the hoses are a little tighter than perfect but ive never had a problem, you can slide them down a little anyhow.

I had the 312 setup on my last car (Fabia VRS) they where the best mod I did!

I presume ur stepping up from 288mm? You'll notice a mega difference!

I would say yes, but a little advice on pads if I may - When I did my 312 conversion I got some REALLY cheap pads for it but even with the bigger discs they did`nt feel any better than standard 288mm! Also they clunked in the carriers when I braked... think they were Abtex.

But then I got some Mintex 2041 pads and straight away they were miles better and they had`nt even bed in! Emergency stops are crazy now.

I also renewed the rear discs and pads at the same time.

Plain discs are plain discs but don`t be too stingy on pads :drive2:

Got some ebc genuine 312 mm slotted and groved audi tt discs with yellow stuff pads with sensor going very cheap as I bought them for my old golf mk4 then found out the hub brace was one part and couldn't take the carriers off. Also have the calipers.

Name a good price. Live in Huntingdon. Been trying to get rid of these for a while.
