 Where was this then Pete? Or is it a secret?

You can get your thinking cap on too... :bleh:

No secret, i'm dying to tell everyone I know! haha I went to X Sport Racing in amazingstoke and they kick aryse! I'm going to (hopefully) be doing like I did for these guys mopping up oil spills, charging batteries, mixing fuel etc etc (making tea) buthey, you gotta start somewhere! I already got like a million ideas for the Polo!

I know EXACTLY what I would do to your car, and it would pretty much be what I would do to mine if I could take it off the road long enough and never wanted to get 40mpg or a comfortable ride EVER again! :funk: check out the polo, it might be coming home soon as I might have another j - o - b!

id go for brakes. you had the ap's waiting, but just a shame they didnt turn out to be.

Good plan. Next up will be brakes I think! I can get a whole TT 312mm set-up for the price I sold the AP calipers, so that might be the direction I go in.... ;)

aw hey, just seen the scangauge thing and it sucks! I thought it was this which i don't like but is way more awesome than the scangauge.

it's like a £50 Sealey EOBD tool..... :cartman:

unless i'm missing something?

Liquid Guages are sweet... but expensive! Wanted a Scanguage to keep tabs on intake temps etc. with the SMIC among other things! Can play with it to show BHP and boost...

yeah VAGCOM can do all that and you can export the data in to excel and compare graphs etc etc and you don't have to have a crappy looking box in your car (sorry scangauge people!)

True, but with the scangauge you can just drive and all the data shows up on screen, whereas with vagcom you need to attach it to a laptop and set it to do logs etc, its just a pain in the ass, and id rather not have a laptop in my car all the time even with tinted windows!

:D

ScanGauge doesn't show boost :(
I have mine set to read: RPM - Volts - Intake temp - Coolant temp.

Reads and clears fault codes too.

I would like a Liquid Guage but wouldn't pay the money they are.....

Will want it to keep an eye on intake temps really with the SMIC as it warms up (not soon though I guess.... snow here again today!) Other info. is helpful too.

Liquids are ace, but pricey. I know mine is saving my rear at the moment with all the fault codes and clearing then that that dodgy fuel is giving me! :)
