Really! Did John's stand out?
Was that white Golf GTI quick?

Er no. Plenty of straight line speed, but low corner speed as the tallentles gimp at the wheel hadn't seen oulton before.

That time atack scoobynet was mental, as was the evo. The porkie was quite
quick, and mikes GTI is fantastic there. I did around 40 mins
of pax laps with him before lunch, and nothing overtook him though he probably overtook 4 to 5 car per lap.

Brilliant track and can't wait to go back when it's less greasy. Glad
noone off here was guilty of ending sesions. So much time was lost on an already shortened day.

Had a top night in Manchester with the mkiv boys and had a fun drive into Manchester listening to the two giggleing kids in the back (danza and tabs) every time walrus unleashed the fury in mine.

I sometimes forget that it's not normal. New two piece discs from daveb (UK mkiv brake guru) worked a treat. Great price and a different world from single piece discs. Reccomended them to anyone with a cupra r.

Would love to do one at Oulton in the summer even if it is more pricey.

Mine was stopping just fine but far too over-servoed and not progressive enough with their feel unlike the Brembo on my old Cupra R when I took it round Oulton in 2006.

The new Tarox brake fluid that Awesome put in last week worked a treat too. But I need to think about a brake upgrade too, mainly for better calipers at least.
