Had a look in the engine bay today and noticed i had alot of fluid leaked ......and then i found this........

Which i supose came out of here .....

Dont know how this came off....... would this coming off caused my problem ..

The clutch pedal still sticks to the floor with no spring back when i press it ... still cant select any gears when engine is running...... also a rattling noise when engine is running..

I managed to drive car home without using the clutch pedal .... there wasnt any clutch slippage ..... just that i cant use pedal to change gears...

Does anyone know what my problem could be,,, and what i would need to do or replace to fix it...

Any help would be greatefull .. thanx..

Gearbox needs to come out to investigate either way. Does sound very much like the slave cylinder has failed. It will need a new clutch anyhow as it will be contaminated with fluid.

Ta mate for your ifo ...... got told this from a backroad garage i broke down at and asked for there help ..... just wanted to clarify on here ..... and thanks again as i would rather trust someones info on here than any were else....

So its new clutch plus slave cylinder ....so this should all be done on same labour cost .... only if no other problems arise ....

I got a clutch and a concentric slave cylinder for £230 delivered from CG motorsport just had it fitted yesterday very impressed with it tho seems to do the job told him i was planning on geting the car mapped this year and he said the fast road clutch would be fine fast delivery too! www.clutch-specialists.co.uk thats the link. Had my clutch fitted on my drive by a local mechanic £120 it cost me very good price if you ask me :D Will be using him again!

Was gonna buy the parts then get them fitted ......
How much did u pay for labour costs ..... is it u paid £230 for parts then £120 to get them fitted ?? ..... just trying to add up how much i need to empty my bank to get this done .......

Do u think having all this done to your car has made it better then when u first got it .??

What is a concentric slave cylinder ....... is it OEM or better than OEM...????

Its what it is, a hydraulic release bearing.

Sod doing one on the drive though, certainly not for £120, fair play to the chap that did that..lol.

Haha the bloke was spot on quoted me £150 for labour and then said that it was £120 when he had done :) yes i paid £230 for the parts delivered. The pedal is really light now and biting point right at the floor :D He showed me my old clutch and slave they where cream crackered. I was worried tho thinking it was all going to cost mega bucks!
