Anyone used them on the LC?

My front disks are shot ... so its time for replacements.

I'm not interested in EBC / Drilled / Grooved stuff... just good quality front brake disks in OE size (312mm) will be fine.

Currently run Ferrodo DS2000 pads on the front that have been superb but cant seem to find them anywhere at the moment hence thinking of trying the PAGID's next.

From what I understand, Pagid are budget. Personally when it comes to brakes and tyres, i'd prefer to buy quality mid - top of the range goods. Can't put a price on safety. Have a look at normal Ferrodo products, they have always been good on previous cars.

Pagid are not budget mate believe me... have used them on other cars fine for years... Porsche use them as OE for starters ;)

Had Ferrodo DS2500's on my old car and didnt think they were that great imho... bit wooden when cold.

My existing setup is Brembo disks with Ferrodo pads (OE replacement pads) but I cant find neither anywhere  ... shame as they are very good as passengers have mentioned :D:lol:

I am sure Porsche must use an upgraded version. It just bothers me that I can get discs for Brembo calipers for £35 each when genuine Brembo discs ar £250. Sure there's a mark up but there's a difference somewhere and most likely in quality.

Normal Ferrodo pads are fine, you can even source then in Halfords to make things easy. As for Brembo discs...Demon Tweeks?

PAGID is OEM among others for Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus or Porsche. [B)]

Found some Brembo disks for £43+VAT each... any good?

Seems reasonable... Pagid disks are £37+vat which is pretty good...

Halfords stock Ferodo pads? excellent :) ... not sure which version is on my car at the moment ... I would assume the SL or Premier version...

Anyone know where can get PAGID Fast Road pads?

I had these on my old Golf MkII 16v and they were great, got them from GSF but that was years ago, don't think they do them now.

Can't seem to find anything other than their RS Blue, Black etc. for the Leon and they're extortionate!

Found these at Stealth Racing for Mk4 Golf (bottom 2 items):

...but don't know for sure if they'd fit the Leon.

I don't understand this either..

The price from VW for OE discs is well over £150, but people keep getting them for £40
Including dealers!

Halfords stock Ferodo pads?

They buy them from Car Spares and add a margin on top (or at least they did the one time I wanted some and they had to get some in - I witnessed the delivery!) I go to Car Spares direct for these when I want them now.
