I want to get my leon Dpf removed, but reading all the problems some people are having I am having second thought's I drove my fr slower than my mum today around country roads and hit 54 mpg avg :funk:, I then got bored and nailed it the rest of the way:cartman: up to 60  and the mpg went down to 41 which is not that bad, it is chipped with bluefin so it must be around the 200bhp mark, just want to hear from all you who has had there dpf removed want to see if i should go for the extra power or not,

thanks Rich

I'm hoping the problems get ironed out in the next few months. Then i'll get it done on mine. I'm running 191.7bhp with standard engine, no remap. But, the DPF is doing my head in with it's regen

i managed to get 54.8 driving round france last year. i had cruise set to 90kph most of the time. when i couldn't find a fuel station i ended up getting 667 miles out of a tank, but it was running on fumes, it never took so much juice at the pumps.

I'm very pleased with mine, occasionally tries to a do a regen on the non existent dpf for 10 mins or so and then goes back to usual.

I've done around 3k since the DPF delete :)

over 600 miles :wtf:

it was not fun i can assure you! it was about 3 in the morning, none of the fuel stations were open, my french was crap, and the light had been on for about 70 miles!

eventually managed to find a self service one, it took something close to 70 litres im sure. it literally was running on fumes. i think if i hadn't have found that fuel station the **** would have hit the fan!

I've got the dpf off, had a few problems with sensors at the start, with my egt light coming on, but after several hundred quid of sensors it's perfect, no regen no nothing. Had my car remapped to 206 bhp, which was a transformation at 170 bhp! But with DPF delete it is a completly different ball game. 240.6bhp and 432 ft lbs of torque, mad car to drive, if driven hard crap on fuel, if driven carefully i can nurse on slow moving 60 under, 50-55mpg on fastish 70-85 steady, 43-48 reallistically.
It's a good mod, but have money saved for problems that will occur.:)
