The remap..

got my Ibiza TDi FR back in Dec and now looking to get a remap

as I've been lurking I read that it has the same turbo + clutch as the cupra so should be able to handle the extra power

all I'm worried about is my driving really, I am a bit too quick to get back on the accelerator and and when driving fast I always get a judder when changing gear, and also at low speeds in places like car parks...
I heard this is trashing my clutch so I do think about not being so eager now and changed my driving yet it's hard to just stop after nearly 2 years driving like it...

just wondering where is best for me to get a remap
I can't remember, but one company has a very sharp power delivery and that doesn't sound best for my driving

where would you recommend to go?
I'm in Berkshire/Hampshire/Wiltshire area and don't really want to go all the way to manchester, but don't mind a bit of a drive

also wanted it to sound a bit nicer so probs gunna get a green panel filter before remap, but keep mostly standard

sorry for the essay, thanks for any advice

where are ptorque ?
sounds like a good one lol
is it one man band will? :)

they are in wolverhampton. i think it was £260 for stage 1 with 2 dyno runs, so alot cheaper then the rest.

yep its will!

the last rolling road day i went on my car had the most power out of all the pd130's that had been stage1 mapped:D

the FR has a different (smaller) turbo to the Cupra. mine was mapped through Unit18 which was an Oscarli map and also nice and smooth, look on briskoda as they had a winter offer of remaps for ~£250

p-torque gets my vote. it one of the cheapest smoothest remap which will help save your clutch

if p-torque didn't have the cracking group buy i would have gone to Ali at Unit 18, the map is very good and smooth and the power is relentless, he took me out for a spin in a VRS about 2 months ago it was a good map.

i do believe so, iirc he uses Northampton motorsport for their rolling road as its the most accurate in the local area.

Offer was on definatley until the end of January but you never know unless you ask

Hi Guys

Thanks for all the kind comments, much appreciated.

The P-Torque remap is £265.00 all in for members. This price includes dyno power runs before and after tuning, along with engine diagnostics check.

We offer various levels/stages of tune, however, our most common stage 1 remap is developed to be smooth in delivery, and maintain power across the rev-band.

If you have any questions, please contact me :)
