I have an 07reg leon with only 40k miles on the clock, i had very worn tyres on the car which was making a wheel bearing noise when driving, I have just renewed all 4 corners for some vredesteins and altho the noise is drastically reduced there is still a bearing noise! will the wheel bearings be covered under warranty still does anyone know?

think im going to take it to the stealers

cheers Wallie

Did you get 4 wheel alignment done as well? What were the state of your rear tyres (specifically the inside rim) when you change them?
A lot of people here have had their alignment redone and had the camber of the rear tyres dialled out so that the tyre sits more perpendicular to the road as there is a lot of toe in on the Leons.
Might help you with the noise. As for wheel bearings being part of warranty they might be classes as wear and tear but would need to check.

Im aware of the alignment issues with the leon, and yes the inside was worn more than the outside on the near side rear but not REALLY bad. This was the worst if the tyres.

im not too bothered about alignment at the moment (i plan on putting some sportlines on in the very near future which will include a 4 wheel alignment) it shouldnt make the same noise if the alignment is out on brand new tyres and if it was majorly out the tyres will have been a lot worse what i took off

just wondered if anyone else has had a wheel bearing done under warranty
