New MK4 ibiza owner, Some issues

Hi

We've just got a 03 plate Ibiza sport 130bhp Diesel, and I have couple of questions

1. the steering wheel isn't straight even thoough the car is going in a straight line?? Is this a common fault or should I take it back to be looked at? They did replace the bushes before we picked up the car??

and

2. When you turn the ignition off the stereo stays on? is this supposed to do that?

1) This is to do with the tracking I think? (could be wrong) A wheel place will be able to fix this.

2) Turns off when you pull the key out though doesn't it?

I'll take it back to the garage then as we've only had it 1week

no it doesn't it stays on?? Strange!!

Very strange about the radio

well if its the Alana mp3 radio it has a setting you can turn on or off that turns it off when you remove the key, have a read of the manual should tell you how to do it

Or if its an after-market stereo swap the yellow and red cables round at the back

If they replaced bushes at the front they should have done the tracking... it sounds like they have`nt!

Thanks for the replies, Not sure what stereo it is so i'll check the manual tonight as its REALLY annoying!!

I'll ring them now to get it booked in in that case

It was a Alana and now it works a treat thats 1 annoying thing down, the other should be done on monday as they told me to bring it in.

If its not pulling then they just need to straighten the wheel, not difficult.
