Boost problems really need some help :(

Hi i have a seat leon 20vt cupra recently i fitted a front mount intercooler the 1 from ebay

its work fine with no leaks or hissing for the couple of months its been on there but now

i feel ive lost a bit of power from my car from 2500 rpm to 3500rpm it just hisses:(

then when i decelerate it makes a squeeky sound:confused: ive checked all boost pipes for the intercooler checked the forge spliter d.v has any 1 had this problem before or any ideas how to fix? the current mods ive got FMIC, cat bk miltek,forge splitter

but ive looked every where:( the boost gauge is reading 10psi an holds there on full throttle
checked all the clamps im really stuck lol just want it run properly again ;)

have you checked the pipes under the inlet manifold?

these are very prone to splitting, but bloody hard to spot

how old is your cupra and how many miles has it covered?

i have'nt looked i mean ive done n259 bypass but apart from that no i aint checked the pipes on the inlet manifold but to be honest i dont even no waht they would look like underneathe the inlet manifold is there any pictures? oh an my leon is a 2000 model (X reg) just done 81000 miles thanks :)

yep, they will most definitely need replacing

erm, well where your inlet manifold is, there is a metal plate that sits just underneath this and directly underneath this is a set of pipes



I found this picture are these the common pipes to split an cause boost leaks?
