No such thing as too loud as long as it doesn't drone, don't you dare tone it down ;)
I need to listen to it from outside...its definately louder than before and before it was loud. I dont want to attract unwanted attention. It will remain like this until AmD RR :)

Just think Rog, I can destroy people who tailgate me with the noise alone

Would like to see you motor in the flesh again Maz following your recent.

The exhaust is pure art but i I still prefer the old twin barrels (OEM inclination that's all).

Sounds like the upgrade has helped immensely with the spooling and possible torque improvements.

I hope that the RR day confirms your assumptions.

Lee you not coming to the RR? I really hope so too, I must admit if the figures dont prove my assumptions right I will be extremely confused. Car pulls much harder than its ever done before and looking at the mph needle from 40-70 its frighteningly quick.

shame you love miles & miles away would love to come have a look at the RR day

if it was a week day im sure i could wangle a business trip ;) cough , but they make me use a company car or hire car instead of mine then
Come to National meet or take mrs for holiday to AmD RR day

I might treat myself with a trip. I hadn't taken much notice of social events due to work, work, work.

However looking at it, it is a possibility (well into Feb). i would like to try and get the Pug on the rollers to see what its chucking out but all slots are full. However on the day I would expect some to pull out (they usually do) and might get a chance to see what the old tin can is chucking out after its generic map.

Would be nice to see what the old Bull is doing at the moment and to see those new results following all that pipework.

maz what have u done with ur old set up of charge pipes as i am after sfs set up for mine
Most of the pipes are in a box at H&S waiting for collection. I know they used some of the silicone and the map sensor map part of one of the pipes. I should have the turbo outlet hose, pancake and hose in its entirity. All you would need to purchase from SFS is some of the silicone bits.

Exhaust Opinion and Pipes #2
-----

Went for a short drive today. I have noticed that the exhaust note on idle is a lot deeper so travels much further. Mrs said the car sounds louder without me telling her anything. Driving the car normally is such a joy now as everything is so much smoother. Car is much more responsive lower down and the great thing is I think I am getting at least 50% less smoke than before, especially when pulling away with liberal use of the throttle.

jonjay - I just love this thread. Believe me or not but I've read it like over ten times. Your skills with detailing are epic ;) and your ride is just awsome, wish live closer to see it live.

Best regards,

Stan

Sometimes I'm visiting UK, so I would be glad if I could "touch" your car and maybe if you don't mind and if you fancy to detail my Leon. As you can see on the avatar (I'm still "collecting" posts to show my "pride") if you will decide to play with my car you should feel like working on your own :)

Best regards,

Stan
