if it has 130hp its the same power maybe more than the 1.8 16v which is 8.6 seconds, standard 2.0 8v is 9.4 seconds with 115hp, and the 2.0 16v is 7.6 @ 150hp
stop just after id pulled out then put foot down but didnt push it hard enough to spin wheels and it redlined at 4k in 1st which probably adds half a second.

Shouldnt be redlining in at 4k more like 5500, the 8v is usually good for at least 120bhp but many run still more than that standard. I certainly cant tell the difference between my old 16v and my 8v at anything sub 80mph, just run out of puff at the top end.
I'll get the part number off the pipe when i get the gti back tomorrow.
the product code for the breather pipe for a 2.0 8v is 037103493AK thats from vdub, the product code should be written on the pipe itself and should be easy to read
when i bought my ibiza it would redline at 5300 in everygear but its turns out that some clot had fitted the tiiming belt incorectly & mistimed the aux drive for the dizzy so the cam sensor & crank sensor were seing 2 different things, reset the timing & all good 6500 rpm here we come
