no protection on the paint, paint flakes, water gets in....rust.

i wonder if its just water being sprayed into the wheel arches that does it then.

It's people who don't wash their cars properly so mud and dirt build up and the arches never dry.

the wheel arch rust is my main annoyance at the moment, everything else looks tidy. im gonna order wheel arch kit soon and paint it to match.

yeah those arches are the same, although i think he has proper mk2 ones not mk3 ones, so they fit closer to the join of the front bumper with the wing.

the ebay listing for the 30 quid ones has ended now. looks like either dealer or body kit website to buy them from for a much higher price
