39mm festoon C5W :)

I have these: clicky They are from hong kong, but the seller is good and they produce the right light - ones with more than one led are too bright and just light up the road behind the car!

ooh a year I am buying them then wanting to go fully LED now need some interior ones for my w8 light now. Thanks for link I too am worried about them not lasting. They easy to change I remember removing them when fitting my new bumper and they were a bit of a pain! Also donated to earthquake appeal on payment!

Small flat-blade screwdriver in the left hand side of the lens, where there is a catch and gently prise it out.

Those led`s will be too bright IMO James, 6watt led`s will just light up the road like crazy and get you pulled- they are also a bit small.

If I'm ordering the one's from ultraLed's as posted above I'm guessing I need to order 2? Or do they come in pairs?

Assuming there are 2 bulbs needed for the Mk4, I haven't really checked tbh!

Yes you need two, so that`ll be £10 plus postage.
Or you could go for the ones I have: clickity and pay £9 for two. :bleh:

I`ve tried some with 4 led`s, and some with two... these^ are better, great quality and better light.

You got a pic of them on the car at night? Cos I'm looking for something thats brighter but not too blue! How would you describe the colour, like a blue or a very bright white?

Ok, bear with me I`ll try to take a pic tonight.
I`ve found all "white" led`s to be slightly blue. I think the car colour makes a bit of a difference to the light colour, my car is blue so it may look bluer on mine as the light reflects off the bumper a little.
I might be talking nonsense though.

Here you go:

Car is dirty so light is diminished a little.
