front bump stops

I have been told that my front dampers have no bump stops is this a big issue or will it be ok as it is as i dont fancy spending the money getting them fitted if i dont have to:cry:

yes its an issue, and yep you should get them done asap.

easy diy job that, or reletavly inexpensive fix.

wouldnt go through an mot without them.

true, but they are an essential suspension component and should be there.... correct ones for sport chassis aswell.

any decent mot centre will pick them up on their suspension test.... must be bloody uncormfortable with out them aswell.

why would it be uncomfortable? you should be hitting the bumpstops regularly?

had the bump stops fitted but i am not happy with the ride, it feels as if the shockers are hitting the bump stops on uneven roads but its ok on major pot holes,i may have got whats happening wrong but the ride feels very choppy on roads that have broken up due to frost damage for example.I've had three cupra's so i know exactly what they ride should be like
So its back to the garage and hopfully get it sorted.Has anyone any idea's about this problem as it was fine without the bump stops:confused::cry:
